We acknowledge that our gatherings take place on the unceded ancestral lands of many Nations:

The Syilx/Okanagan, Secwepemc Nations, the Shaw-naw-as and Kwalikum Peoples and Treaty 7 Peoples.

Recognizing the lands we are on is a first step in living into true reconciliation with local indigenous peoples.

Indigenous communities remind us that land is more than a geographical location.
The land is a place of deep spiritual connection with Great Mystery and we are all called to live in right relationship with the lands which we call home.

We also recognize the watersheds: Okanagan, North Thompson, South Thompson, Thompson, Englishman River, Little Qualicum and Bow River. These are the watersheds in which we make our homes, knowing the waters in these regions support all of life in the area. We are grateful for this gift of life—and for the Source of All Life.
