Recognizing the lands we are on is a first step in living into true reconciliation with local indigenous peoples.

Indigenous communities remind us that land is more than a geographical location.
The land is a place of deep spiritual connection with Great Mystery and we are all called to live in right relationship with the lands which we call home.

We also recognize the watersheds: Okanagan, North Thompson, South Thompson, Thompson, and Newsome Creek, Englishman River, Little Qualicum. These are the watersheds in which we make our homes, knowing the waters in these regions support all of life in the area. We are grateful for this gift of life—and for the Source of All Life.
